Ashanti and Ja Rule to Reunite One Night Only in NYC

Old school R&B lovers will rejoice at the announcement of Ashanti and Ja Rule’s summer tour. The duo will reunite this summer for an eleven-date tour to kick off in New York City.

Ashanti and Ja Rule were a part of Murder Inc. the record label that existed from 1999-2003. Recently, both artists have taken on acting careers. Ashanti is an executive producer on the new film, Mothers and Daughters, which will be in theaters May 6. Ja Rule has also been pursuing his acting career; as he is currently starring in his own reality show, Follow the Rules.

For those lovers of early 2000s R&B you can hear your old favorites “Mesmerize”, “Happy”, and Grammy nominated song, “ Always on Time.” The tour kicks off August 25 in the Tour PlayStation Theater in New York, NY for one day only!
