With Christmas almost upon us, it’s time for you to start thinking about some of the best events you can attend nationwide to get in the holiday spirit. We’ve created a list for you of some of the best places you can go to celebrate the holiday season.
If you want to see an entertaining little event and visit one of the best flight museums around to boot, then you won’t want to miss Santa’s arrival in his new ride at the Lone Star Museum in Houston. Santa will fly in to the museum’s ramp and then taxi into the museum. You’ll get the opportunity to take pictures with Santa. If you already have free paid general admission to the museum, the event is free. If not, you can save two dollars a ticket by purchasing your tickets online. For more information, please visit the museum’s website here.
For the low price of $16 a ticket, you and your family can witness the Winter Wonderland Marionette Show at Geppetto’s Theat34 until December 30th. The show is made for families, and you’ll get to see a marionette tale about the North Pole and its preparation for the holiday season. You’ll even see a sleigh ride entrance from Santa at the end of the show. The show lasts for about an hour. For more information on the performance, please visit Geppetto’s Theater website here.
This yearly event will give you some knowledge about how the holidays are celebrated around the world, providing a lot of education as well as a beautiful Grand Tree and a forest of fifty other trees. Each tree represents a different cultural tradition and how that culture celebrates the holidays. Plus, live holiday performances will also be on hand. For more information, please visit the museum’s website here.
