Fashion lovers won’t want to miss Fashion First 2017, which arrives at Seattle’s Canvas Event Space on September 14th. As Seattle’s longest running independent fashion show, Fashion First always delivers a great event filled with innovation. This year’s fashion show is titled “Futurae—Fashion Future,” and focuses on covering futuristic ideas in fashion for women.
Fashion First 2017 attendees will not only get to experience a great fashion show, but also know that the event’s proceeds will go to the Crescent Moon Foundation and Outdoors for All Foundation. The event starts at 7 PM for those who have reserved seats. A live auction starts at 8 PM, followed by the fashion show that runs from 8:30 to 10 PM.
One of their primary goals is to provide an affordable option for Seattle area fashion retailers and designers to market themselves in both fashion shows and on social media. Fashion First’s also aims to to bring together fashion consumers with retailers and designers so that these enthusiasts have an outlet to come together and grow.
Fashion First’s shows not only help unite the fashion community in Seattle, but also contribute to charitable causes. Since 2012, Fashion First has worked as a non-profit foundation that raises money for charity. Raising over $1,300,000 for children and students in Western Washington to date, Fashion First also uses its shows to raise money so Seattle students can earn scholarships to attend college, and also provides its proceeds to help disabled children experience the outdoors.
