The participating restaurants do more than just sell you intercultural food; they take the time to teach about their culture while serving from their menu. One restaurant is selected per country, and the Around the World Festival makes sure to pick the best food vendors to represent international food.
A new, exciting event comes to the Around the World Festival this year: a cultural fashion show. Not only will guests get to learn about a variety of traditional dress from around the world and what it symbolizes, but guests are also encouraged to don their own traditional cultural fashion and join in on the show.
While attending the Around the World Festival, know that you will not only be helping to support the goal of the festival by helping to preserve the culture of each participating country, but you will also be helping to support the arts. Each year, the Around the World Festival picks one or more organizations that supports the creative development of children in the arts and music, and donate funds.
