4 Bestie Date Spots to Unwind In NYC

May 07, 2017 Tara Geigel

I do everything with my best friend; whether it’s facemask and wine night or midnight coffee runs, we always have an amazing time no matter what. While we enjoy our weekly routines, we’re always looking for something fun and out of our comfort zone to do. I know how difficult it can be to find a new activity to try or a new restaurant spot to eat at so I’ve narrowed it down to four fun things to do with your best friend.

King Spa & Fitness

This spa is located across the Hudson River in Palisades Park, NJ. I highly recommend this place; it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax with your best friend. The entrance fee is good for up to 24 hours, which means you can actually spend the night in the dark room that they provide. The spa even provides shuttle service from Koreatown to Palisades Park every hour. Massages and facials are separate and you could find the full list on their website. There are so many rooms to check out including the hottest room, which goes up to 200 degrees! You can take a break by playing Chinese checkers or indulging in delicious Korean food and shakes. If you want to feel refreshed, this place is for you! For more please check their page

Radio Star Karaoke

I know that karaoke can be daunting especially if you’re not much of a singer, but it’s the most fun you can have with your best friend by your side! If you want to sing a song, write down the name of the song you want to sing and for $2, you’ll belt your heart out in front of the crowd. You could also just hang out and listen to other customers sing their favorite songs if you’re feeling shy. Koreatown is home to many karaoke bars, but this one is one of the best and you’re guaranteed to have an amazing night. For more information you may visit their page here

Sugartooth Tours

My best friend and I are really into sweets and if you and your bestie are as well, then check out this tour! The tour goes for 2 hours and is priced at $50 per person. You can choose to do an Ice Cream Summer Sundays Frozen Treats tour, which brings you around to spots with frozen treats. You can even choose Sweeter Than Sugar Chelsea & West Village Dessert Tour, among other tours that are offered. What better way to spend a day with your best friend? For more information you can check them out here

The Crooked Tree

Who doesn’t love crepes and gossip? I sure do and this place is my favorite spot to do so. The crepes that are served here are savory with choices like goat cheese and spinach to nutella and coconut crepes among others. You could even enjoy a delicious glass of sangria or wine to accompany your meal. You can check them out here
