Jamie D. Aten, Ph.D., is founder and executive director of the Humanitarian Disaster Institute (HDI) and Blanchard Chair of Humanitarian & Disaster Leadership at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He is a disaster psychologist and disaster ministry expert.
