Today, our live guides will virtually take us to St. Petersburg, Russia to explore one of the most fascinating cities coming out of the Russian Empire.
Our virtual guides will begin with an overview of the city and a special look at highlights along Nevsky Prospect Street. We will learn the history of the Hermitage Museum (the the second-largest art museum in the world) founded by Empress Catherine the Great in 1764. We will then experience the paintings and sculptures within its walls. We will learn the history and interpretations of multiple works of art (some famous, some not as well known), including Michelangelo’s “Crouching Boy, the “Statue of Atlantes” and many others!

Virtually head to the Summer home of the Russian Tsars for an incredible tour of the gardens and grounds of Catherine’s palace.
Our live guide will be using photos, art (and perhaps other media) during the tour. He will cover the history and modern significance of the location and interpretation of several works of art.
