So you hate it when everyone shouts “FIVE GOLDEN RINGS,” and we get that, but there’s more to the 12 days of Christmas than that never-ending song. (Also, the Muppets version of it is more than acceptable, for the record.) The Dallas Arboretum (8525 Garland Road) hosts The 12 Days of Christmas as a Victorian gazebo exhibit spanning .75 miles. Each gazebo is filled with mechanized characters and beautiful decorations that bring each number to life. Whether it’s a snow scene featuring bedazzled geese, or nine fully costumed ladies whirling through a ballroom, each scene is paired with festive music. See the exhibit, running through Jan. 8, with regular daily admission of $10 to $15, or during the special nighttime showing for $20 (non-members). Visit dallasarboretum.org for info.
