Totally True Things presents "A Hundred Indecisions"

A HUNDRED INDECISIONS
written and performed by Mel Dockery

What if we could make life bullet proof by never making a conclusive decision? Follow the life of Mel Dockery as she safely weaves herself away from all destinations, blissfully unaware that not making a decision is a decision unto itself.

After the show, Rick Andrews will join Mel and host/moderator Jude Treder-Wolff for a discussion about how improv can help with overthinking, fear of failure and other causes of the indecision Mel talks about in her authentic, entertaining way.

About Mel Dockery: For most of her life, Meliora Dockery was a corporate trainer but then her son, Martin – an accomplished storyteller in his own right, suggested she try her hand at autobiographical stories. Since then, Mel has been weaving true stories about herself in and around New York City. She is a 3-time Moth slam winner, featured on NPR’s The Moth Radio Hour,  the Armando Diaz Experience, Andy Christie's Liar Show, Leslie Goshko's storytelling evenings at KGB bar, Now You’re Talking and (mostly) TRUE THINGS. She was a storytelling instructor for Kevin Allison's Story Studio and is now trying her hand at acting, improv. and play writing. Recently seen in a Zoom performance of A. R. Gurney’s “The Dining Room”, she shortly will be Zoom-appearing in Michael Cristofer’s “Shadow Box”.

About Rick Andrews: Rick Andrews is a teacher and performer at The Magnet Theater in New York City and has been studying, performing, and teaching improvisation since 1999. He began improvising with Improv Boston, continued with a stint in Saint Louis, MO and has been fortunate to learn from many improv greats, including Armando Diaz, Ed Herbstman, Joe Bill, Mark Sutton, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, Will Luera, Jill Bernard, and more.
