The 1920's were an age of dramatic social and political change. For the first time, more Americans lived in cities than on farms. The nation’s total wealth more than doubled between 1920 and 1929, and this economic growth swept many Americans into an affluent but unfamiliar “consumer society.” Jazz bands played at dance halls like the Savoy in New York City and the Aragon in Chicago. We will have live music to assist us with experiencing the twenties in full effect.
Chef Life Consulting is very excited to announce our next Pop Up Experience, The Roaring Twenties Dinner. This experience will touch on different aspects of the 20's in terms of food.
We decided to create a menu with subtle nuances of flavors from different regions and parts of the world, while creating a menu that reflects the times of the twenties.
Like our last experience.... PLEASE COME DRESSED IN YOUR FAVORITE 1920'S OUTFIT.
The Roaring 20's are known for gangsters, flappers, bobbed hairstyles, and parties that could leave you reeling for days. Women in skirts and dapper men in pinstripes help to paint a picture of the good old days.
