Business Metrics

  • The numbers of any business serve two key purposes: 1)where you stand financially and 2) where to apply your limited resources. We will dive into Result Indicators (RIs)and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). We will also work to develop a dashboard – showing you where you are and what you need to do.

Strategic Planning

  • Thinking and planning your business is critical. We will focus on the big picture and discuss where you want your business to be – and – how to get there. Clarity about where you are heading is vital to business success.

Goal Setting

  • A Harvard study of MBA students showed that barely 3% of graduates had written goals. The 3% with written goals were earning 10 times more than the 97% without written goals. The ability to set clear goals is the master skill of success. Goals unlock your positive mind and release ideas and energy.

Time Management: Focusing Your Time

  • Perhaps the most critical productivity-enhancing skill is Time Management. The biggest mistake most people make is focusing too much time on “non or low value added” activities. Successful people focus on activities that add “great value” and help them achieve their goals. We will examine how to apply Pareto’s Law, understanding your hourly rate, and engage in Zero-Based Thinking.

Remove YourCritical Constraints

  • In every work or production process, there are a series of steps between where you are and where you need to be to achieve results. One of these steps is the constraint or “choke point” that determines the speed at which you complete the process. We will focus on how to accelerate your progress by identifying and removing “choke points” critical constraints.

Four Principles of Marketing Strategy

  • Business strategy IS marketing strategy. Your ability to attract qualified prospects determines your success in business. We will discuss the four principles of marketing strategy and your decisions in these four areas can determine the success or failure of your business.

Prospecting

  • You have a brilliant marketing plan but, unless you can actually reach the potential buyer, it is all for naught. Before a sale takes place, the prospective customer must first be located. In this session we will focus on prospecting, the first stage in the sales process.

Presenting & Closing Techniques

  • Before buying, your prospect must be convinced that your product or service is the best choice available and a good value for money spent. The purpose of your sales presentation is to convince your client that their money is well spent. Once presented, you then close the sale by asking the right questions and overcoming their natural reluctance to commit.
