The Gardens will be closed at 12p on June 21 to set up for the event.
Bring a picnic dinner and a blanket or chair and join us in the Roy DeBoer Evergreen Garden at 5:30 pm. The music begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Wine from Unionville Vineyards will be available to purchase by the glass. No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Alexis Jessica Morrast youngest of six, singer/song writer; a 15 year old phenom, native of Newark, N.J presently residing in Plainfield, New Jersey. She began singing in church at the age of three, leading her first solo in the adult choir by seven. Since that time Alexis has performed on several stages; the U.S. OPEN in 2013, 2015 Central Jersey Jazz Festival in New Brunswick featuring trumpet player Sean Jones, NJPAC with Christian McBride, the world renown APOLLO THEATRE emerging as Two Time Amateur Night Winner and later returning as their Special Guest. February 2017 back on the APOLLO stage she was named the Winner of SHOWTIME at the APOLLO nationally televised FOXTV hosted by Steve Harvey; most recently Alexis resounding tone was heard on Millennium Stage at The KENNEDY CENTER!
Since 2010 the New Brunswick Jazz Project has been making Central Jersey a destination for great jazz. They bring world renowned artists and emerging talent to local venues every week. Rutgers Gardens is proud to Partner with The New Brunswick Jazz Project to celebrate our 100 anniversary during the Summer Solstice.
This event is free to Rutgers Gardens Members with a nominal music fee of $5.00 (cash/check payable at gateat front gate) to all others (17 and under are free when accompanied by an adult).
The Gardens will close at 12pm to get ready for this special event. No dogs will be allowed in the Evergreen Garden.
