Summer Seminar: The Loire Valley

The Loire Valley – August 20th, 2017 @ 1:00 p.m. – The Loire Valley is certainly the most Disney-esque wine region in the world, dotted with gorgeous 15th and 16th century châteaux. It is also the most diverse wine region in France, stretching over 500 miles through three distinct famed growing areas. From sparkling cremant, to the difference between Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, to the ageable reds of Chinon, and the sticky dessert wines of Layon, you are in for a whirlwind tour! Now is the time to take this class, the 2015 vintage has been the best in decades.

The staff of Wardman Wines are chosen specifically for their geek cred. Come join us for one or a series of seminars where we dive deep into grapes, places, and the parts of wine that matter most. We also offer a couple of seminars on beer and spirits. Each seminar involves tasting a series of wines and exploring what it is that makes them unique. A seat at the table costs $35, but participants receive $20 in store credit and a 10% discount on all the wines tasted.
