 “Seminar”- Derived from Latin word seminarium, seed plot.

Join three master tellers for an afternoon Zoom session filled with stories, interactive prompts, and dynamic conversation to enrich and strengthen your storytelling. This Gathering will complement and follow the artists’ joint performance at the Hans Christian Andersen Storytelling Festival on Aug 29th 11:00-12:00 (live on Facebook) where they will each share a newly adapted Andersen story. Seminar participants are requested to attend this free concert at 11:00 am (or watch it immediately after at noon on Facebook or YouTube) as the concert will inform our discussion on the creative process.

About the Seminar

When we choose to be the teller of a particular tale, we are planting the seeds of its knowledge and perspective into the world. What creative choices are we making to ensure those seeds contribute to a more inclusive world while still maintaining the integrity of a story? We welcome storytellers at every level to participate in a refreshing and nourishing event exploring the creative process of shaping and sharing stories. This seminar is for anyone interested in making a compassionate and responsible commitment to storytelling in the modern world.
