The High Point State Park invites you to join them for a hike down and back up the Kittatinny Ridge, walking portions of the Steekykill Trail and old woods roads. The hike covers about 2.5 miles and will be guided by an expert who will explain the changing plant communities and early recreational history of the area. Most of the hike is easy to moderate, but the trip back is fairly strenuous. That being said, the hike is recommended for adults and children ages 8+. There is a $5 fee for parking for NJ residents.
