January 15, 2024 is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday. To honor his life and legacy, this day is also the National Day of Service.
Join the My Super Powers Foundation for a youth-led service-learning project. We are making Valentine's Day cards and gifts for veterans living at the Illinois Veteran's Home in LaSalle! This event is sponsored by Radon Xpress Inc.
We need youth volunteers ages 5-21. Note that if the youth volunteer is 13 years old or younger, a parent, caregiver, or person at least 14 years old must stay at the event with the child.
Plan to arrive on time as this event will beginning promptly at 1:00PM with a short presentation by Glenda Nazarowski, USAF veteran and retired FAA Air Traffic Controller.

NOTE: Although this is a free event, because space is limited, a ticket is required to secure a spot. Tickets are required for each person attending, including adults. Once you have a ticket, if you cannot attend, please let us know. Thank you!
