Seattle vintage high tea, pastry & cake expo

At the Seattle vintage high tea, pastry & cake expo we understand that with work, family and other commitments, we sometimes forget to stop and take a little time for ourselves. Our event seeks to provide an affordable, baking haven where cakers and pastry chefs can come to be inspired, learn new skills, unleash their creativity and spoil themselves with a little shopping and a lot of cake.

In addition to this we also look to contribute to social good in the process. We support organisations that are dedicated to enriching the lives of others. Our 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility initiative is to raise funds to help local schools that are in need. As such, 5% of the proceeds from the Seattle vintage high tea, pastry & cake expo will be donated to the schools endeavour.

We also wish to grow our business through long term partnerships with our sponsors, stall holders and customers. To continuously develop through streamlining and refining our processes and measuring our success. We aspire to grow this exhibition annually and bring life to our motto “Let them eat cake”

Event features:

Main Stage

From the very best cake-decorating teachers and pastry chefs, to Seattle’s up and coming cake celebrities, our demonstrators will come from far and wide to dazzle our cakers with their skills and industry secrets. We will have Tea experts from India, Morocco and China, as well as pastry chefs from France to educate on the best trends.

School of Cake

Due to the immediate sell-out of cake decorating classes, the upcoming expo will host more classes in our dedicated School of Cake. With lessons from some of Washington State’s top cake decorating teachers, there will be classes for beginners straight through to advanced levels. These classes are set to develop skills, inspire creativity and be a lot of fun. In the spirit of “Let them eat cake”, the unique dual spectator/play-along class format will be accessible to all cakers who don’t often have the opportunity to spend big money on cake decorating classes.

Cake Decorating Competition

Our cake decorating competition will be the show-stopping feature of all our expos. The Competition is open to all amateurs and self-taught cakers. Each year we hope our competitions will attract over 200 entries, with the display of the top five edible artworks from five categories drawing crowds by the thousands. Our Categories will include: One tier, Two tiers, and Three tiers (or over), cupcake tower and Novelty.
