SE Portland OIS Training

The Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is Oregon's system of training and implementing the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Intervention to staff that support adults and children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may display challenging behaviors.

Class Schedule  (NO Online option)

Day 1: Wed. 1pm to 5pm  (No Lunch)  In-Person in, SE Portland 

What to bring: Personal water bottle 

Day 2: Thur. 9am to 6pm  ( 1 hr. Lunch) In-Person in, SE Portland

What to bring: Personal water bottle and Lunch

Second half of the day you will be learning the PPI skills and practicing them with a partner

What to wear : comfortable loose flitting clothes, close toed shoes. 

Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED (no sandles, crocs or high heels) 

All COVID 19 sanitation and protection mandates are followed.

Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED

Disposable gloves will be supplied


NO REFUNDS

Before you finalize this registration make sure that you or your staff will be able to attend both days. 

NO Show-If you do not show up for the class you have registered for you do not have the option to switch to a different class at that point. See class switch Policy below.

No working or providing care for children or residents during class time

Must attend the class that you registered for. No switching classes unless you pay the switch fee, see switch fee rules below.

There are No Refunds

Must attend class that you registered for or pay a $50 fee to switch to a different class

Class Switch Policy: 

1. Switch must be requested no less than 2 days prior to original class start time

2. Switch fee must be paid for in advance using Zelle, Paypal or Apple Pay-Must communicate with the Trainer directly via TEXT to facilate this process at 503-510-9154

3. Once switched to new class you are no longer able to use the space in the orginal class for yourself or anyone else unless it is still available on the website to purchase at the then available rate.

4. A class switch can only take place with currently posted classes.
