The Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is Oregon's system of training and implementing the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Intervention to staff that support adults and children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may display challenging behaviors.

Class Schedule  (NO Online option)

Day 1: Mon. 9 am to 6pm  pm  (1 hr Lunch)  In-Person in SE Portland 

What to bring: Paper and pen. Personal water bottle and Lunch

Day 2: Tue. 9am to 1pm (No Lunch) In-Person in SE Portland

What to bring: Pad of paper and a pen, Personal water bottle 

Second day you will be learning the PPI skills and practicing them with a partner

What to wear : Comfortable loose flitting clothes, close toed shoes. Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED (no sandles, crocs or high heels)

All COVID 19 sanitation and protection mandates are followed.

Disposable gloves will be supplied

Before you finalize this registration make sure that you or your staff will be able to attend both days. 

NO Show-If you do not show up for the class you have registered for you do not have the option to switch to a different class at that point. See class switch rules below.

Must attend class that you registered for or pay a $50 fee to switch to a different class

Class Switch Rules: 

1. Switch must be requested no less than 2 days prior to original class start time

2. Switch fee must be paid for in advance using Zelle, Paypal or Apple Pay-Must communicate with the Trainer directly via TEXT to facilitate this process at 503-510-9154

3. Once switched to new class you are no longer able to use the space in the orginal class for yourself or anyone else unless it is still available on the website to purchase at the then available rate.

4 A class switch can only take place with currently posted classes.

Refund Policy
NO REFUNDS-No Rescheduling-Switch classes is only allowed upto 1 week before the class starts-See policy terms below No Refunds-before you finalize this registration make sure that you or your staff will be able to attend both days. Must attend the class that you registered for. No switching classes if you miss this class: It is Too Late to ask to be switched to a different class. You have up to 1 week before class to request to be switched to a different class. See Class Switch Policy below. NO Rescheduling: If you do a "NO SHOW" for this class, you have forfeited your option to be switched to a different class. The only way you will be able to attend a different class is for you to Re-Register and pay for a different class. Class Switch Rules: 1.
