Meeting with the youth is Margaret Bascom, LPC-A. Margaret obtained her Master’s in Psychology with a Clinical Concentration from the University of Dallas. During her coursework, she completed her counseling practicum at The Center. At The Center, she gained experience practicing children’s group therapy and individual therapy with children and adults. Her main focus and experience is with school age children and adolescents. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, she worked full time at an elementary school in Irving, Texas, teaching 5th grade, Kindergarten, and Latin.

Leading the parent conversation is Evan Buja, LPC. Parenting, family and relationship expert Dr. Buja is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received both his Masters in Biblical Counseling and a Doctorate of Ministry in Spiritual Formation from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has practiced in the Dallas area for 20 years. Evan is one of the The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology’s therapists who offices at LHUMC.
