San Diego “Micro brewery” Tour

A unique journey to the Number one Craft Brewery experience in San Diego.

Welcome to San Diego, the new beer capital of the United States. San Diego is encountering a micro brewery phenomenon that has started to evolve from 1989 with Karl Strauss Brewery as a pioneer.

We will safe drive you to the central San Diego North County breweries with a vehicle that can accommodate the group size. We will visit a selection of 3 of the best breweries in San Diego.

We will do at least one behind the scene visit (Lost Abbey, Green Flash or Ballast Point). At each stop you will be explained the steps on how the beer is produced and our experimented tour guide will give you an introduction about the hops that make all the craft beer so special.

We will end our visit in a Micro Brewery and enjoy their cozy tasting room. (Rough Draft, Indian Joe or Coronado brewery)

We very are likely to do a surprise stop on the way (if the time permits). At each stop you will be served a Brew master’s selection of their finest craft beer. Food is usually available at most of our stops.

We are working with the following breweries and they will be added in the beer itinerary at our discretion and depending on their availability : Ballast Point, Green Flash, Stone, Ales Smith, Rough Draft, Lost Abbey, Breakwater, Rip Current, Oceanside Ale Works, The Draft, Mother Earth, Latitude33, Indian Joe, Accoustic Ales, Mission Brewery, Rock Bottom Brewery, Mike Hess, Desperado, Hillcrest Brewery, Coronado Brewery, Karl Strauss, Port Brewery & many more… (the sooner we book, the sooner we can secure the spot for your group)

Of course we can try to customize the public tour if you send us a brewery visit request at info@sdrtours.com . But be sure we have done our homework and we know where to go and where to not go 

This tour can be customized as a private tour which is ideal for the bachelor – bachelorette party. We can accommodate with a limo bus for the group larger than 20. We can accommodate up to 2 groups per day so be sure to make a reservation in advance as this tour is our best seller!

The tour includes :

• Transportation to the breweries
• Tour guide at all time (knowledgeable and fun)

• Beer flight or similar at every stop (at least 3 samplers per stop)
