The Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is Oregon's system of training and implementing the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Intervention to staff that support adults and children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may display challenging behaviors.


Class Schedule

Day 1: Thur. 9am -5:30pm (1 hr lunch )In-Person and Online- Online participants must login by 8:30 am to be able to join the 9am class. 

Day 2: Fri. 9am to 2pm  (1/2 hr. Lunch)  In person in Springfield Or.   

What to wear on Day 2: comfortable loose flitting clothes, close toed shoes. (no crocs or high heels) Mask, gloves.

All COVID 19 sanitation and protection mandates are followed.

Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED

Refund Policy
No Refunds-before you finalize this registration make sure that you or your staff will be able to attend both days. No switching classes. NO Driving, no working or provide care for children or residents Must attend the class that you registered for. Must have a computer and NO other responsibilities during class time. If the Instructor cannot see your face and talk to you during the class time and you do not participate in ALL the activities and class discussions YOU WILL NOT receive a Certificate. It is up to you to make sure there are NO distractions in your environment that will take your attention away from the class.
