The Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is Oregon's system of training and implementing the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Intervention to staff that support adults and children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may display challenging behaviors.
ATTENTION EMPLOYERS!
Send the order confirmation page you receive after completing the registration to the staff you registered.
If you do not enter the correct email for your staff they will not receive the address and will not be able to attend.
If you use your email address for the staff, it will be up to you to make sure they get all documents and details for the class.
This is a HYBRID Class
If any of the following applies to you and where you live, you have the option to take Day 1 of class (Tue. June 21st) Online
Anyone living in the the following counties in Oregon
- Eastern and Central region: Most counties (Baker, Crook, Gilliam, Grant, Hood River, Jefferson, Morrow, Sherman, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, Wheeler)
- Mid-willamette Valley region: One county (Lincoln)
- North coast region: Most counties (Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook)
- Southern region: Most counties (Coos, Curry, Douglas, Harney, Klamath, Lake Malheur)
1. Use a computer in good working order (Audio and Video that work) NO Cell phone use
2. Stable Internet
3. DOWNLOAD THE ZOOM APP PRIOR TO THE CLASS DATE
Must have computer and NO other responsibilities during class time to take Day 1 online.
It is up to you to make sure there are NO distractions in your environment that will take your attention away from the class.
IF the Instructor cannot see your face and talk to you during the class time and you do not participate in ALL the activities and class discussions YOU WILL NOT receive a Certificate.

Must attend class that you registered for.
Class Schedule
Day 1: Tue. 9am -5:30pm (1 hr lunch )In-Person
Online- Online participants must login by 8:30 am to be able to join the 9am class.
Anyone attempting to join the class online at 9am or after will not be allowed to join.
Day 2: Thur. 10am to 3pm (1/2 Lunch) In person in Keizer Or.
What to wear on Day 2: comfortable loose flitting clothes, close toed shoes. (no crocs or high heels)
All COVID 19 sanitation and protection mandates are followed.
Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED
Disposable gloves will be supplied
Physical Address, online link and class documents will be sent out to you the day before Day 1
