Space
“Space is a multilayered word. It can be an action, feeling, a state of mind or an area with potential. It can be occupied or rented. Space can also be a void. It is the gap between words, teeth, parked cars, or the area beyond earth’s air….Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator, Griffin Museum of Photography.
Camera Commons is pleased to present Space an exhibition of regional photographers curated by the Griffin Museum of Photography in the Streetside Gallery.
2nd Annual Invitational Exhibition
Camera Commons’ second invitational exhibit in the Workshop Gallery features Bob Burchsted , Kristin Burchsted and Christy Utter. Each member brings their view of the world. Kristin creates much of her work near the water. Robert credits his wife Kristin with expanding his photography world. Christy Utter has always had an interest in historic photography processes, many of her photographs taken with a pinhole camera.
Both exhibitions will be on view from April 23-July 9.
The opening reception is April 23, 1-4 p.m.
There will be a gallery talk featuring the invitational artists on June 4, 2-4 p.m.
