Moon Over Buffalo, a madcap comedy by Ken Ludwig comes to Studio Playhouse in Upper Montclair. Performances are Thurs, Fri, Sat at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 3:00 PM from Sept 16th through Oct 1st.

 

George and Charlotte Hay are fading stars of the 1950's. At the moment they're playing Private Lives, and Cyrano De Bergerac in repertory in Buffalo. On the brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George's affair with a young ingenue, they receive word that they might have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee. After a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, can George and Charlotte pull it all together to impress Mr. Capra?

 

Moon Over Buffalo is directed by Paul Bettys and stage managed by Alicia Hayes. Tickets $20 adults, $17 seniors and students: discounts available for groups of 20 or more who prepay. Opening night tickets buy 1 get 1 free. Tickets can be purchased online at www.studioplayhouse.org/tickets  or by calling 973-744-9752. Studio Playhouse is located at 14 Alvin Place, off Valley Road near the Acme in Upper Montclair.
