On Monday,  January 17, 2022, we will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and look forward to your continued support.  The 2022 theme is Social Inclusion. In the spirit of inclusion, the city of Houston, MLK Grande Parade Committee, and community organizers, welcome your attendance. Dr. King’s steadfast pursuit of equal rights and equality by nonviolent means is inspirational, bringing diverse cultures together to celebrate in a spirit of love, service, and unity. 

The parade will commence in Midtown Houston on San Jacinto Street near Houston Community College. You will receive an email with event instructions as we get closer to the event date. Online registration is now open and closes Monday, January 3, 2022 (no exceptions). Upon registering you will receive a confirmation email. On the day of the parade, please bring proof of registration with you (email or hardcopy).
