Milaan's 3rd Annual Celebration of Girl Leaders, 2018

On behalf of the Milaan Foundation Board, I would like to invite you for its 3rd  Annual Celebration of Girl Leaders on 29th Sep' 2018 at Elmhurst Art Museum for an evening full of hope and inspiring stories, spiced up with Indian food and music. 

Our lives are driven by stories, stories of common people driving uncommon change in pursuit of creating a better world. When these stories are of adolescent girls from some of the most challenging social, economic, and political backgrounds: it especially fuels and impacts a belief towards nurturing girl leaders to create a more equitable world.

This year, Milaan Foundation invites you to a dual celebration - the graduation of our second batch of incredible Girl Icons and the expansion of the Girl Icon Program to over 10,000 adolescent girls across three states in India. 

This year the guest speakers are Dr Isha Ray, Co-Director of The Berkeley Water Center and a faculty member of the Institute for South Asia Studies at UC Berkeley, and Vidya Shah, the founder of Edelgive Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Edelweiss Group, a leading financial services conglomerate.
