A roller-coaster of lighthearted moments, fun, entertainment, laughter, emotions and tears ! Come and spend an evening with other poets from your own city. Put your expressions to paper. Recite those lines you have been humming last few days. Come and express yourself! This is your event!
Objective and effort is promote & advance rich sub-continent literature and prevent 'shayari' and 'poetry' from dying. rich literature from sub-continent in an entertaining manner.
Our vision is to set an annual tradition in Minneapolis for 'Kavi Sammelans & Mushayaras'. And to provide a respectable opportunity to local poets, shayars and writers on a recurring basis.
Poets/Shayars/Essayists/Ghazal Singers must pre-register with the Organizers if interested in participation. Organizers will reserve the right to turn down non-RSVPs, Walk-Ins or Late Comers. Snacks and Tea will be provided.
