Diwali is a Hindu festival also known as The Festival of Lights, held in the period October to November. It is particularly associated with Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, and marks the beginning of the fiscal year in India. Our featured book, to help children understand Diwali, is Lots of Lights by Kavita Sahai .

SPECIAL MUSIC & MOVEMENT – 3:00 PM

In celebration of the Hindu festival of Diwali, join your Imaginators for a lively music and movement program and learn steps to a Diwali dance

ART STUDIO – open 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Guests in the art studio will make their own compact disc candle holder to represent Diwali the festival of light.
