MCA Youth is honored to host a Calligraphy Class for our community! Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner eager to explore new horizons, this class offers a welcoming space for creativity to flourish and friendships to blossom. The class will begin at 2pm and will end at 4:30pm in the Youth Lounge on March 30th. The cost per participant is $25 and includes art supplies. We have space for 25 participants. Invite your family/friend(s) to join you!
Under the guidance of our instructor, Suzan Qawouq, participants will learn to mix cool abstract designs with Arabic Calligraphy using acrylic paints. It's hands-on, fun, and you don't need any specific skills to start. We will create an attractive color scheme, then will add a simple calligraphy with contrasted colors.
This class is more than just an exploration of artistic technique—it's a celebration of community and spiritual growth. As we gather together in the spirit of Ramadan, we'll share stories, laughter, and moments of reflection, deepening our connection to one another and to the rich cultural heritage of calligraphy.
