The Latino Filmmaker Festival will debut the showing of films during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15- October 15 2017. The schedule is a timeframe of the film showings, including a folkloric dance performance with narrative. The intention of this festival is to build awareness and encourage the popularity of first generation Latino filmmaker’s artistic and cultural impact while educating and advancing the public’s understanding and appreciation of Latino culture and film.
GOAL 1: Foster La Casa’s mission to promote artists

GOAL 3: Community Engagement: educate and advance the public’s understanding and appreciation of Latino culture and film
We will invite special guests and other media representatives to participate in panel discussions, Q and A's, to share ideas, insight and experience.
