JOKES & JAZZ 10 (National Comedians & Live Music)

On Thursday, April 11, 2019-- Char-Town Entertainment & CTE Vision Foundation, Inc. in association with DC Comedy Festival will host "Jokes & Jazz"—a fundraising event at  Pepco Edison Place Gallery in Washington DC… a night of hilarious stand-up COMEDY-- and exceptional LIVE MUSIC entertainment…  Jazz artists joined by some very special musical guests.  All Proceeds from event are tax deductible and will benefit youth arts & entertainment education initiatives. 

 Light Jazz & Champagne/Wine Reception from 5:30pm-6:00pm. Performances begin at 6pm.  

The mix of young musicians and industry professionals reflects the overall mission of CTE Vision Foundation, Inc... which was established to provide unique mentoring, educational, professional development, and performance opportunities (with entertainment professionals) to exceptionally talented young people as well as underprivileged and at-risk youth who are interested in pursuing non-traditional careers in entertainment and the arts, such as: stand-up comedy, music production, animation, acting, etc. 

**Proceeds from the event will help generate financial support of CTE Vision Foundation, Inc programs to facilitate complimentary event attendance for disadvantaged and at-risk youth.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The Pepco Edison Place Art Gallery is located in Pepco’s Edison Place headquarters, at 702 8th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20068. The entrance to the Edison Place Gallery is on Eighth Street between G and H streets, directly behind the Pepco headquarters entrance. The Gallery Place Chinatown Metro station servicing the green, red and yellow lines is within walking distance of the Gallery. Street parking and public parking garages are available directly across from venue entrance.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Cell phones are permitted but No RECORDING of Event will be permitted.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

If you transfer your ticket, you must provide full name & date of birth to the event organizer NLT 24 hours prior to event.  The person must bring with them your ticket/receipt & proper photo ID.
