Usually it’s considered a bad thing to make something “black and white,” but not when it comes to Pegasus Theatre’s productions. Their makeup, lighting, costuming and sets are intended to make their original murder mysteries look like movies from the ’30s, and they’ll put this technique to work again for It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder, opening at 8 p.m. Thursday and continuing through July 31. The story centers on Pegasus’ favorite detective, Harry Hunsacker, who’s looking for a criminal who’s been taking down department store Santas. Tickets to the Thursday show are $22.
