This digital photography workshop builds on the basic camera instruction provided in the introductory course at American Graphics Institute. This one-day photography workshop covers the use use of RAW image format, image interpolation, white balance, digital color, and file formats. Simple photographic lighting techniques will be demonstrated using natural and artificial sources as well as the use of electronic flash. The course concludes with a challenging practical assignment using a single light source and simple light modifiers, and each student creates a complex, powerfully lit conceptual studio photograph.
