Hike & Whiskey Tasting

Join the Outsiders on Saturday, March 13th for the beautiful Surprise Loop Lake hike. Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at Essex Squeeze at Essex Market. After the hike, we'll make our way to Industry City in Brooklyn where we'll partake in a whiskey tasting with Standard Wormwood Distillery and enjoy some bites from Hometown BBQ.

**MUST READ** - COVID-19 Precautions: 
We are providing transportation to the adventure thanks to our partners at Volvo. We have 4 SUVs which each fit 3-4 passengers comfortably.  Passengers in each SUV MUST wear a mask.  

We know it's not easy coordinating 3-4 friends to attend an event, so although it's not required, we do encourage that you all be in each other’s safe "bubble quarantine" groups.  What does that mean exactly?  It means we ask that you do your best to try and book your ticket along with 2-3 friends to reserve your spot in the SUV.

Tickets are $69.95 x person with transportation in our 4 Volvo SUVs. This includes, snacks, beer provided by Fat Tire, and Volvo will be providing some food at our after-hike hangout. 

EVENT DETAILS:

  • 10:00 AM – Meet at Essex Squeeze 
  • 10:30 AM – Depart
  • 12:00 PM – Arrive at hike entrance
  • 1:45 PM – Snack break on the trail
  • 3:00 PM – Conclude hike head to Industry City BK

Temperatures will be taken upon arrival.

No refunds unless the event is canceled. If the event is rescheduled to due weather, ticket purchasers will be offered refunds if they notify us within 72hrs that they are unable to attend the rescheduled date.
