Seattle's first ever Grilled Cheese showdown in the quest for the best grilled cheese sandwich is coming to the Magnuson Park Hangar 30 on November 17th-18th. The Seattle Street Food Festival is proud to bring together Seattle's favorite bread & cheese makers, restaurants and food trucks under one roof. Enjoy over 50 uniquely cheesy pop-ups and offerings designed around bread, cheese, craft beer and everything in between over two days inside the Magnuson Park Hangar.
There are three seperate sessions over two day to enjoy, so pick your day and your ticket for the largest grilled cheese compeition on the west coast!

HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
This year's festival will have 25 competiting entries comprised of seattle's best restaurants, chefs pop-ups and food trucks providing (1) featured sandwich entry in a full sandwich and 1/2 sandwich offering to allow for atttendes to eat their way through and vote for three different categories.
Attendees choosing to vote are encouraged to eat from all three categories and vote for their favorite sandwiches, but not required to help us crown the BEST GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH ON THE WEST COAST! If an attendee eats from (3) or more booths, they can tun in their entry for a raffle prize (prize to be announced on November 1st)
All vendors will be offering other menu items to enjoy and order at your leisure, so it's all good, so overall we expect over 45 different types of grilled cheese sandwiches to enjoy!

WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY VIP PASS?
You can pick up your VIP Lanyard at the Hospitality Lounge on-site the day one hour before your seassion 9am at Magnuson Park Hangar.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR FOOD AT THE EVENT?
Yes, Grilled Cheese Grand Prix believes in supporting the local businesses that participate! We do require every prepared food booth and truck to provide a sampler plate of their competing grilled cheese dish in a "half sandwich" serving to enjoy. VIP guest do receive additional tastings at the Tasting Room.
WILL ANY OF THE EVENTS BE CANCELLED IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?
All events will take place rain or shine. Weather contingency plans are in place for each event.
DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN AND PETS AT YOUR EVENTS?
All of our events are 21 and over only (no infants, small children or strollers). Pets are not allowed (with the exception of licensed service animals).
I HAVE A DIETARY RESTRICTION, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
All of our events are omnivore friendly. We will have a fewvegetarian options at our main events; however, in order for us to allow our participating chefs full creativity, our events are not catered to vegetarians or those with strict dietary restrictions.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is public parking available at the park, but we encourage you to use public transportation or ride share like Uber or Lyft. we will also have a dedicated car2go area to park and pick-up throughout the festival.
What can I bring into the event?
There will be a bag check, so no outside beverages or food will be allowed.
