A Gay film screening with live commentary and converstaion led by comedian Calvin S. Cato. A fundraiser for Black Live Matter
The idea for this Gay Men Of Color and Allies Movie Night was born from the recent Gay Men Of Color Dinner Party Get Together. Host (and Time Out New Yorls Gay Comedian of Color to Watch) Calvin S Cato welcomes you and leads fun and interactive conversation and witty banter, then we all hunker down to watch Calvin's favorite movie TO WONG FOO, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, JULIE NEWMAR via "Netflix Party" - this means, we will send you the link for everyone to watch the movie simultaniously on Netflix (on a second window). The best part of this evening will be the LIVE COMMENTARY led by one of the funniest comedians in NYC. During the movie, the Zoom party will stay open and we can all contribute our own jokes.
In addition, this evening of community is a fundraiser, with proceeds going to organizations supporting Black Lives Matter.
NOTE: You will need to already be a member of Netflix to watch the movie
To participate: Register for the event and we will send you the link you will need to participate via ZOOM.US.
What do I need? A device with a camera and microphone.
Can I attend alone? Right now 99.9% of those participating attend alone.
Dress Code: You choose, just, please be wearing clothes!
