Enlace: A Storytelling Event for Connecting Humans

The COVID 19 pandemic has arrived and with it we have established a new normal; working from home, gathering places closed, and travel ceased. It feels weird. Points of connection that we take for granted in our daily lives are gone. However, the lack of day to day connection creates space for us to be intentional about making deep connections. We are here to provide that space for you.

On April 21, 2020 you are invited to participate in Enlace: A storytelling event for connecting humans.

My Story and We Talk Real Talk have come together to build a storytelling event that invites connection and conversation. At Enlace, you will hear true stories from four incredible individuals who were selected from the Enlace application process and trained by a storytelling coach. We will then facilitate conversation amongst the audience to connect with one another in an authentic and honest way.

Our shared goal is to:

• Engage conversation within the community. Fully listen to the people sharing stories and see how we all have shared humanity with one another.
• Empower people to be authentic in their lives.
• Meet and connect to others who feel open to being their real selves.

This event is another opportunity for you to be your authentic and brave self in an environment that thoughtfully supports heartfelt demonstration of vulnerabilities.

The purpose of the event is to model empathy and connection through stories and conversations. This is an opportunity to see new perspectives and practice deeper conversations. Join us to explore different viewpoints from people in your community and beyond. This is a great opportunity to connect with someone new during this time of isolation.
