Community Congregational Church will hold a pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 8 from 8-10 am at the Greenland Church Parish House, 44 Post Road, Greenland. The menu will include buttermilk and blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee. The cost is $5 per person and children under age 4 eat free. Proceeds benefit the church's general fund.
At 10 am, the church's annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the town green across from Greenland Central School and is held rain or shine (or snow!). All children through 5th grade are invited to participate. Please bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs!
Community Congregational Church is a member of the United Church of Christ and was founded in 1706. The church’s sanctuary at 10 Church Lane was built 261 years ago and is a familiar landmark at the corner of Route 151 and Portsmouth Avenue. Sunday services are held at 10 am with Sunday School and childcare available. The church’s parish hall and offices are located in the Greenland Parish House at 44 Post Road.
Led by Rev. Robert Fellows, Community Congregational Church is also a founding congregation of Seacoast Family Promise (formerly known as Seacoast Interfaith Hospitality Network), runs a weekly food pantry, and is involved in a number of local, national and international mission efforts.
