The Durham Bulls are a minor league baseball team based in Durham, North Carolina. The team gained international fame in 1988 following the release of the movie "Bull Durham". The team won its first championship as a member of the North Carolina State League in 1917 and has since won 11 more, including 3 League Championships and a National Title since making the jump to Triple-A in 1998.
