"Do You Trust Me?" Written and Performed by Tony Targan, examines the quotation "Trust takes years to build,
seconds to break, and forever to repair." We all have ways to influence others
to gain their trust and to make ourselves look better in their eyes. So how do
we know if we are seeing the "true" version of someone else, and more
importantly, do we really want to?
As a playwright, Tony Targan's recent productions include Turbulence,
which won the People's Choice award at the 2019 Michigan AACTFest, and
Memory Foam, which was staged both in Michigan and in Chicago. In
2020, Start Slow, Finish Fast was performed on Staten Island in NYC. As
an actor, Tony’s favorite stage roles at the Farmington [MI] Players include
Jack Jerome in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Sir Lawrence Wargrave in And
Then There Were None, FDR in Annie, and Carmen Ghia in The Producers.
Tony and his wife live in the Detroit suburbs where he recently retired from
the practice of law.
