AGNI is created by scholar, educator and dancer Ahalya Satkunaratnam. In this dance film, three dancers personify the deity of Agni, the Vedic God of Fire, investigating his continuous duality as both giver of life, and tool of dispossession, war, and death.  Drawing on the languages of Bharata Natyam and modern dance, AGNI invites the audience into witnessing a shared journey: The rise of dawn; the dilemmas we reconcile with difficulty; and the long and daily era of global conflict and warfare. Moods of Nāyikā is created by drag performer Abhijeet and dancemaker Ashwaty Chennat. Moods is a celebration of the nāyikā—the heroine—who is etched into ancient Indian literature. In eight dynamic episodes, the ashta nāyikā emerges with agency, and all at once uncertain, sexy and powerful. This work is an explosion of South Asian queer artistry and the rising scene of local digital performance. Runtime: 33 minutes.
