At least three times a year for the last fifteen years Kit Crissey’s invited people to his Classical Concerts Series in Saint Joseph University Chapel. It became a beloved community tradition. The concerts were #free and open to the public, featuring local, classically trained #immigrantartists.
Originally from countries of the former #SovietUnion, they
came to #Philadelphia in the 1990s.
#Crisseyconcerts became a launchpad for restarting successful artistic
careers for many of them. Those of you who follow #MAEevents will recognize
#singers Tatyana Halitskaya, Tatyana Rashkovsky and unique trio Phila Grande just to name a few.
Now Kit Crissey, “the #godfather of Russian artists” as he
affectionately known in the community is bringing them for the first time to
his series new home in #NortheastPhilly to celebrate and give back to the culturally rich community they came from.

musicians and singers for a magical journey of classical music and vibrant
tradition of home.
