This adult fitness class is focused on core-strengthening. Instructor Loren Groenendaal is a professional dance artist and Certified Movement Analyst. The class is primarily informed by Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies and includes influence from Loren's training in Pilates, Spiraldynamik (R) TM, Yoga, and other somatic practices. With a holistic and 3 dimensional view of the body, Loren will provide exercises that target specific core muscle groups and other times, extend the core, asking the whole body to work together for a stronger, more functional and coordinated body for dance or other movement in life.
