Scott co-founded GovDelivery in a basement in St Paul in 2000. A few months later the City of St Paul became the company's first customer. Today, GovDelivery is used by more than 1,000 public sector organizations in the U.S. and Europe to connect with more than 70 million people. Scott served as CEO for GovDelivery. Earlier in his career, Scott also worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on new product launches and operational effectiveness for several multinational companies. Scott serves on the Board of Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce, St. Paul Public Schools Foundation, and Minnesota Citizens League. He has received several awards for his business accomplishments and community contributions, including the “Forty Under 40“ and "Titan of Technology" awards from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and the “Emerging Leader“ award by Twin Cities Business magazine, among many others. He has dedicated time to encouraging open government, civic engagement, and technology innovation in the public sector. Scott graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics. He recently co-founded Structural Inc. and has been its CEO since April of 2017. He is a member of the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
