In the back-to-school spirit, we’re hosting a series of small, interactive classes with our talented culinary team on our Chef’s Counter at Scout PNW. Enjoy a rotating lineup of oyster shucking, butchery, craft bartending and cake decorating. $60++ per person, per class, or $200++ for all four classes (includes a gift).
For this class, The Thompson Seattle bar team will discuss basic cocktail theory and why the classics – like Old Fashioneds, Sidecars, and Daiquiris – are always on the menu. Techniques and seasonality in the home bar will be discussed and sample cocktails will be provided with light faire from the culinary team. Students will be provided with a mini cobbler shaker.
