Breaking the Silence on Gender and Caste Based Violence

The past several months have been strange, surreal, dystopian, no matter where you are in the world. On top of witnessing one's own and others' pandemic-related challenges, the violence on wage-workers, women, folks of color, and LGBTQIA has grown disproportionately. As members of the Indian and South Asian diaspora communities, we are also witnessing unprecedented violence upon the stateless and casteless, identities we seldom speak of or acknowledge. We are tired of the exhausting silence, the unspoken burden of it that makes us one of the unhealthiest groups in the world. Like us, if you're tired of bearing silent witness to gender and caste violence in our communities, JOIN US. There are two ways to join:

1: Share your thoughts, experience, learnings via your favored medium (dance, singing, music, spoken word, poetry, reading)

2: Listen in, with your heart, to make sense of this situation and be ready to BREAK THE SILENCE in your lives!
