Each season, Birchtree Catering invites the public to experience our locally sourced menu creations in unique locations in and around Philadelphia. We invite you to dine with us on July 12th at Hill-Physick House from 7:00-10:00pm. The evening will feature Birchtree's latest seasonal and local creations, as well as wonderful music and decor from some of our favorite local vendors.

Birchtree Supper Clubs start with an interactive cocktail hour, followed by a one of a kind multi-course dinner with new seasonal, locally sourced dishes. Our chefs work on creating new dishes and reintroducing favorites that highlight summer's best local foods.

Built in 1786, this square, four-story brick house is the only free-standing Federal townhouse remaining in Society Hill. With its huge doorway fan light (the largest in any Pennsylvania residence in 1786) plus grand proportions and straight, classical lines, Physick House is an exceptional example of the Federal style. It is decorated with outstanding examples of French-influenced Neoclassic furnishings, popular during Dr. Physick's time in the house. The unusually large city garden also contains plants popular in the 19th century.
