Gwen Restaurant by Curtis Stone

Grand Cru Burgundy (made from Pinot Noir) requires 15+ years! Top producers back to 1969 will be served; All wines decanted & served blind next to an epic gathering of great older Barolo! (made from Nebbiolo) the old school wines were made to last a century! We hunted the world and found an amazing set of wines to truely explore the land of Tar & Roses.... Once controlled by the Dukes of Burgundy, Barolo has much in common with great Burgundy ... and we will taste them blind allowing you to discuss, guess which wine, which vintage, and pick your favorites (its just more fun doing it this way).

Restaurant Gwen by Curtis Stone provides amazing cusine and service that this epic journey and its passengers deserve. Curtis Stones "GWEN Restaurant" was voted LA's best new restaurant last year and we believe its better than that! The food will delight with a multi-course menu: part butcher shop/ part wood fire paradise, this is the perfect way to celebrate this amazing destination. Located inside the beautiful upstairs private salon; 18 glasses per guest will be blazing... as guests taste over $10,000 worth of "UNICORN wines" collected over the past decade by Cellar Consultant and Wine Expert Ian Blackburn.

This is a once in a lifetime gathering of greats! and you are worth it!  Please tell all your friends about wineLA.com and join us in Piemont in November for Truffle season!

Fine Print: list shows 18 wines and we will bring a few extras should something not perform or disappoint but every step has been taken to buy finest examples from elite producers. All bottles are in good/great condition. Limited to 18 guests, we follow a one-bottle per guest policy* - starting Champagne - we upgrade to Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne, Blanc de Blancs (Magnum) when we sell out!

*This event requires a minimum number of participates to operate.
