Ankara Bazaar resembles the vivid West African patterned fabrics (ankara) that inspire its creators and avid followers: vibrant and chic, yet warm and handmade. The event blends the best of a fashion and homewares pop-up store with the convivial energy of an African market, pop-up fashion show, complete with music, food, and drinks.
These creators are coming to cities around the country this summer, creating a day-long hub for African, African-American, and Afrophilic fashion lovers and hosting local performers and favorite eats at every stop.
